Style Q&A: Interview outfit

Q: I need an outfit for an upcoming interview in a creative field that looks polished yet stylish at the same time. What do you suggest?

A: My favorite go-to outfit is a wrap dress. I think it’s appropriate for just about any interview, so one great purchase can go a long way (and you’ll still wear it long after you score the job)!
The key to this look is accessorizing: a bold, bright statement necklace and pumps in a punchy color for a more creative job (ie – interior design firm, advertising agency), or a blazer, delicate jewelry, and neutral pumps for a more formal work environment (ie – law firm, bank).

Wrap dress: $98, Banana Republic
Creative interview:
Statement necklace: $168, Anthropologie
Colored pumps: $198, Cole Haan
Formal interview:
Blazer: $50, H&M
Black pumps: $75, Nine West
